I slept until 6h00 until the sun woke me up. It took me half an hour to get everything packed up. I am getting faster 🙂

 

 

After 2.5 more miles I reached the highway which leads to Idyllwild. I tried to get a ride for half an hour before surrendering and walking another 2 miles to a small grocerie store where I bough breakfast (snickers and a liter of lemonade).

 

 

From there on I caught a ride halfway to town, had to get out and got almost immediately another picked up to get another 1/4 closer to Idyllwild. I walked the rest and met some friends right away. I wanted to camp but they had chosen to get into a hostel for 15$ with free showers and laundry so I joined them.

 

 

After the laundry was done I got a shower and rested for about an hour on my matress before heading out to buy groceries.

 

I have no idea how big the town is because you cannot see anything! Its completely covered by the forest which they build the city in. I’ve never saw a town like this before.

 

I got everything I need for the next 5 days to get to Big Bear Lake where my next resupply is going to be.

 

I gonna rest a few more hours, get to a restaurant tonight and then to a bar before I go to sleep 🙂
