The exit I wanted to take was right where I was and it would have been a 3,5 mile hike to the shuttle. Reads Meadow however is in 3,5 miles and there is another shuttle. And I could get breakfast…
I woke up around 6am but I took me almost 2 hours to get out of my sleeping bag 🙂 The Grumpy Bear opened at 8 and there was already a crowd of hikers waiting to get breakfast. When they opened everyone rushed in to get a table but almost noone tought of getting in the line to order. I didnt care about where it would sit an so I was one of the first to order 🙂…
I got up quite fast even though everything outside was covered in mist again and my tent was wet from the outside. I left the tentsite around 7h00 as I saw Sharkbait walking past me so I would have someone to speak to before the next watersource. The watersource was only 2 miles away and there should be a dead snake in the cistern. Not the best conditions to start the day… Luckily someine took the snake…
After arriving at the airport of San Diego at 11pm I had to make the devision to take a taxi/uber to get to Scout&Frodo’s place or to sleep at the airport.
